The Prescription Pad is an independent community pharmacy that fills prescriptions for drugs, oxygen, and home medical equipment.

Mike Montgomery, owner of The Prescription Pad, has served Jessamine County as a community pharmacist for 31 years.  He started in 1977 as a manager of a local retail chain.  In 1985 he and his wife, Kathy, opened a franchised pharmacy which they operated until April, 2005, when they changed the name to MedShoppe Medical.  In June, 2008, the business became The Prescription Pad.  Through the years, customers have come to depend on Mike, Kathy and their staff at 930 South Main Street for their prescription, home medical and respiratory equipment needs.  Although the name has changed, the Prescription Pad’s dedicated staff continues to provide the same prompt, up close and personal customer service for which independent community pharmacies are known.
